Painting services

Our residential painting services

Viora Painting offers three residential services: interior painting, exterior painting and cabinet painting. Each one starts with the same thing, preparing the surface properly, but the products, prep steps and scheduling are different. Here is how they compare.

Topic Interior PaintingExterior PaintingCabinet Painting
Main prep work Filling holes and dings, caulking trim joints, spot-priming repairs and stains Washing, scraping loose paint, caulking gaps, priming bare wood and repairs Degreasing, scuff-sanding or deglossing, and a bonding primer
Typical finish Matte or eggshell walls, flat ceilings, satin or semi-gloss trim Exterior-grade satin or low-sheen body, higher sheen on trim and doors A hard, cabinet-grade coating, usually satin or semi-gloss
What affects timing Number of rooms, ceiling height, repairs, color changes Size, surface condition and weather Number of doors and drawers, condition, coating cure time

Combining services

Not sure which service you need?

Many projects overlap. Choose “More than one of these” on the estimate form and describe the project in a sentence or two. We will sort out the scope during the walkthrough.

Kitchen refresh
Cabinets plus walls, ceiling and trim in the same room. Doing them together means one setup, one round of protection and colors chosen to work as a set.
Before you sell or move in
Interior walls and trim in the main living areas, often with the front door and garage door for curb appeal. Empty homes are faster to prep and paint.
Exterior with front-door accent
Body, trim and a contrasting entry door or shutters, with colors chosen to work together.
